- Since David is also an author, he compares his photography to his writing. He says he wrote his first book in a random coffee shop. This differs from his photographs since he travels around the world to capture his images. He also compared peoples view of photography to that of impressionist art, they ask if it really looked like the picture and the answer is yes and no.
- David continues to take pictures to express to other photographers that money isn't a bad thing, especially when you can use it to help. "It's time for creative people to stop seeing money as a bad thing, and see it as a door to possibilities instead. When you have an income that works, you can focus on other pursuits."
- I like the saturation and warm tone of the lighting in his photographs. It conveys natural in a serene and beautiful way.
